About RPI and ECSE

 

Rensselaer is the oldest technological research university in northern American, and the ECSE department is (one of) the oldest programs in the nation offering degrees in electrical engineering, and we take pride on a very successful body of alumni/ae who have gone on to leading positions in industry and academia.

 

Graduate Programs

 

You can apply to our graduate programs by following the instructions available here. Admission decisions are made by the ECSE Admission Committee and the Office of Graduate Education. Undergraduate programs and grades, GRE scores, reference letters, and the statement of purpose have the key roles in admission decisions.
